Accès-Loisirs is back this fall with a simplified and secure registration! | VIVA MÉDIA Skip to main content

After a spring turned upside down by the Covid-19 pandemic which led to the cancellation of the usual registration period, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Accès-Loisirs program is back with new registration dates for the fall session in a simple, accessible and secure format.

Since some families may still not have received their 2019 notices of assessment, the Program committee has decided to offer a reprieve allowing families already participating in Accès-Loisirs to have their membership card renewed automatically without new proof of income. Membership cards will therefore expire in August 2021 instead of August 2020. Those interested in online registration are invited to visit the site www.accesloisirsVS.ca in order to create an account and submit the necessary documents before September 9th. Thereafter, families with an account will be able to consult the list of activities offered and benefit from the online registration, which will be open from Saturday, September 12th at 10 am to Monday, September 14th at 4 pm.

Although online registrations are preferred in the context of a pandemic, it is still possible for eligible citizens to register at one of the service points listed below by presenting proof of income (the federal or provincial notice of assessment for 2018 or 2019 or the claims booklet for income security recipients) as well as proof of residence with address (driver’s license, tax statement, utility bill):

Saturday, September 12th from 10 am to 1 pm

  • Île Perrot and Vaudreuil Area: Paul-Émile-Lépine Community Center located at 150, boulevard Perrot in L’Île-Perrot.
  • Soulanges Area: Maison de la Famille de Vaudreuil-Soulanges located at 1210, rue Principale in Saint-Zotique.

Sunday, September 13th, from 6 pm to 8 pm

  • Mont-Rigaud Area: La Coulée room in the Chalet de L’escapade located at 15, rue du Boisé-des-Franciscaines in Rigaud.
  • It will be essential, during registrations, to limit the number of people per family in addition to respecting the measures in place concerning public buildings which require hand washing, respect for the two-meter social distancing, as well as the mandatory wearing of mask.

Vaudreuil-Soulanges Accès-Loisirs program

Inspired by a model already established in several regions of Quebec, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Accès-Loisirs program identifies spaces offered by sports, cultural and recreational organizations that have agreed to give space for their activities or, offer spaces that have not been filled during their registration period. These spaces then become available to all persons eligible for the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Accès-Loisirs program.

The latest figures from the Direction de la santé publique indicate that more than 6,000 residents in Vaudreuil-Soulanges are currently living below the low income threshold. Whether it is for families or individuals, the practice of sporting, cultural or outdoor activities makes it possible to socialize, to break through isolation and to develop skills that enhance the quality of life of the citizens and the vitality of our communities.
