Karen Cox assures us her party is ready to lead

Mrs. Cox explains that calling an election in the midst of the 4^th  wave of Covid-19 is an irresponsible decision. “As Quebec prepares to face the fourth wave of COVID-19, the Liberals can find nothing better to do than call a federal election, said candidate Cox. The proof has been made that their priorities come down to trying to get more votes by endangering the health and safety of millions of Quebecers. This decision is one more evidence proving Justin Trudeau’s lack of judgment.”

Karen Cox expresses concern. She said there was no rush to call the election. “The pandemic is not over and holding an election under these conditions is reckless and irresponsible. Justin Trudeau will be solely responsible if ever outbreaks occur following the upheaval of an election of this magnitude. If the Liberals are not able to control the legislative agenda, they have only themselves to blame”, said the candidate from Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

“While we are forced to find ourselves in an election because of the messy and improvised nature of Justin Trudeau’s government, the Conservatives will act for Quebec, unlike the Liberals who have only made great promises for six years now, but are not taking action. Canada’s Conservatives have a detailed and credible plan to put the economy back in the right direction for all Quebeckers from all walks of life. Our plan is simple: take action for jobs by recovering the million jobs lost during the pandemic in one year, in addition to tackling the labor shortage; take action for mental health with our Mental Health Action Plan for Canada; take action for integrity by passing new anti-corruption legislation to fix the mess in Ottawa; take action for our country by creating, here at home, a capacity to fight any future pandemic; take action for our economy by balancing the budget over the next decade. I call on the voters to dismiss Justin Trudeau for this lack of judgment. The only way to do it is to vote Conservative”, says Karen Cox.
