The Metropolitan Transport Network, better known as Exo, is inviting people who want to attend a virtual public session on October 15th .
With the Covid-19 pandemic making meetings risky, Exo’s management decided to webcast their event. The session will therefore take place entirely online on the transport company’s Facebook page.
The meeting, which will be held at 5:00 p.m., will be divided into several parts including a question period. Words from the president and the board of directors will serve as an introduction. People who wish to ask questions and have them addressed as a priority are required to complete the online form on the Exo site. Questions posted directly on Facebook will be answered if time permits.
This public session on October 15th will deal with issues related to public transit during the pandemic. This will include traffic, health measures and new timetables for buses and trains. The session will also be an opportunity to take stock of various ongoing projects, to outline the transporter’s vision for the region as well as the challenges of the coming months and years in this new reality of the pandemic.
“It is essential for Exo to interact with citizens and users, and to hear their concerns despite the situation which requires physical distancing. That’s why we’re continuing to hold our fall town hall, but virtually. I hope many of you will join us once again. It will certainly be an opportunity to look back on the last few months, to discuss how Exo is participating in the economic recovery and on the future of our services”, said Sylvain Yelle, CEO of Exo.
People will find all the information they need on the Exo Facebook page or on the website.
