Town councillors Stéphane Boyer and Jim Miron joined Town Manager Michel Perrier and Assistant Town Manager and Town Clerk Etienne Bergevin in having their heads shaved during a June 3 dinner.
Though initially trying to raise $350 to buy a gift for their colleague, the stakes rose when Perrier also agreed to shave his head and pitch in $100. In the end the four far surpassed the fundraising goal, amassing $1,500. The Town agreed to donate $835 of the funds to the May 31 Vaudreuil-Soulanges Relay for Life. Thanks was also given to volunteer hairdressers at Pincourt’s Armani Salon for providing the haircutting expertise.
