The Integrated Health and Social Services Center of Montérégie-Ouest (CISSSMO) is holding a public consultation and invites the population to take part.

The CISSSMO offers two ways to participate in the public consultation process. First, you can do this by completing an online questionnaire or by registering for one of the virtual consultation evenings. The online questionnaire will be made available from November 29th, 2021 for a period of three weeks.

During these consultation meetings, participants will have the opportunity to express themselves and discuss their health and social service needs by choosing one of the following themes. Disabilities, youth, public health and general services, ambulatory services, emergency, intensive and critical care, mental health and addiction as well as accommodation, home support and geriatric services.

To participate in one of the consultation evenings, you must first register online with the CISSSMO, by email at plan.clinique.cisssmo16@ssss.gouv.qc.ca, or by phone at 514 358-7770 for people who do not have access to the internet. It is possible to register up to 48 hours before each activity.

Public meetings are aimed at all individual citizens and representatives of organizations concerned by the subject of the consultation.

The public consultation is part of an organizational approach put forward by the CISSSMO in order to mobilize all stakeholders around the 2023-2033 organizational clinical plan.

“The reflection around the clinical plan will serve as guidelines for our organization to objectively assess and plan the changing needs of the population in health care and services for the next ten years. It is necessary that this reflection be carried out with openness and transparency so as to give us a promising and unifying vision for the region. We hope that people who wish to share their personal experience or use their expertise will respond to our call and join us for the public consultation”, says Jeanne-Évelyne Turgeon, Assistant Director General of Support, Administration and Performance Programs at the CISSSMO.

The 2023-2033 organizational clinical plan of the CISSSSMO will be submitted in the fall of 2022. For more information on this process, consult the web portal of the CISSSMO.

The consultation evenings will take place between December 1st and 9th, 2021, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., on the Zoom platform. An activity is organized by the Montérégie-Ouest local service network (RLS):

  • Wednesday, December 1st: RLS Haut-Saint-Laurent
  • Thursday, December 2nd: RLS Jardins-Roussillon
  • Wednesday, December 8th: RLS Vaudreuil-Soulanges
  • Thursday, December 9th: RLS du Suroît

Citizens must register for the activity dedicated to their RLS. People affected by the CISSSMO’s regional Deficiency and Dependence programs and domiciled outside these four RLS are invited to join the meeting of their choice.

Remember that the concept of RLS refers to the integration of health and social services in a given territory which aims to provide a set of services to the population. The CISSS is responsible for coordinating services and ensuring the development and proper functioning of the network in its territory.
