Being an essential service, our doors have remained open during Covid while maintaining continued support to our community, both virtually and physically. We have also recently been recognized as ‘Wellness Centres’, funded through CHSSN by the Secrétariat aux Relations avec les Québecois d’expression anglaise.
We have worked tirelessly, providing resources in health, education, and social services throughout the Montérégie-West, while growing our organization at the same time. MWCN held over 60 virtual conferences, seminars and info sessions involving over 600 participants from Quebec, Ontario and some even from Alberta since the beginning of the pandemic.
Team building is essential to any organization and encourages communication and motivation while increasing the strengths of all employees. I can honestly say that MWCN is a ‘Well-Oiled Machine’ all due to the vision and perseverance to our Executive Director, Pauline Wiedow. It was now our turn to celebrate as a team with an MWCN Fun-Day at Bellevue Beach in Pincourt on Thursday, July 15th . With access to pedalo boats, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, we enjoyed a wonderful day at the beach together, away from our offices! Creations Passion delivered a wonderful assortment of tacos and nachos, followed up with beautifully decorated MWCN cake. A fantastic afternoon of fun was enjoyed by all. See you all in 2 weeks!
If you are interested in any of the activities and events that we hold on the weekly basis in each of our locations, please feel free to reach out to the nearest office near you. It is only $10 a year, $20 for 2 years or $25 for 3 years to become a member of MWCN. We do wonderful work in so many different areas and take pride in our role of assisting the English-speaking community of Montérégie-West.
