On Friday May 28, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges YOUTH GALA 2021 will be held on ZOOM thanks to the partnership between the Montérégie West Community Network, the Lester B. Pearson School Board and the Caisse Desjardins de Vaudreuil-Soulanges. Students will be honoured for their perseverance, excellence and leadership.
Also contributing to the GALA are MNAs Marilyne Picard and Marie-Claude Nichols, MPs Claude DeBellefeuille and Peter Schiefke, as well as the mayors and representatives of Vaudreuil-Dorion, Saint-Lazare, Pincourt, Hudson, L’Île-Perrot, Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot and Rigaud. The General Manager of the Caisse Desjardins de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Sébastien Laliberté, believes in the importance of supporting young people by helping them achieve educational success: “Desjardins is aware of the role it plays within the community of the region’s students, who aspire to academic success. We are pleased to contribute financially to this virtual year-end activity by awarding 55 bursaries of $100 each to deserving students of the Lester B. Pearson School Board.” This financial contribution from Desjardins Vaudreuil-Soulanges was made possible with the collaboration and initiative of the Montérégie West Community Network.
