These funds will be used to acquire a new warehouse as well as equipment necessary for the proper functioning of the organization. These additions will allow Moisson Sud-Ouest to adequately respond to the volume of incoming food.
“To be able to serve more than 80 organizations in Beauharnois-Salaberry, Haut-Saint-Laurent and Vaudreuil-Soulanges, with quality food, in sufficient quantity and without waste, the organization must have a larger warehouse, says Stéphane Spisak, General Manager of Moisson Sud-Ouest. The current one does not offer enough space. We could give out more food, but we don’t have room to keep it!”

This year, Moisson Sud-Ouest collected, sorted and redistributed more than 707,147 kg of food for a value of $ 6,851,843.69. The organization has helped more than
7,500 people per month, 40% of whom are children.
