This contribution from the financial institution will allow the organization to support the transportation and medical assistance component of the people from our local community to oncology centers in Greater Montreal.
“I am proud to see the continued involvement of Desjardins in their support for our organization as well as in the daily lives of our beneficiaries. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of people with cancer”, says the general manager of OVPAC, Maude Poirier.
Gino Napoleoni, General Manager of Caisse Desjardins de Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, says it is natural to respond to the needs of our community. “Our members have identified the health sector as a priority in our investments in the community and today this is a concrete example of the well-being that we can provide”, emphasizes Mr. Napoleni.
For OVPAC, this contribution represents a partnership that is part of the road to recovery. The commitment of $ 21,000 over three years will help maintain and improve the equipment necessary to achieve our mission.
