Officially founded in 1865, the Town of Hudson is distinguished by its vibrant community, uniqueness, and its emphasis on the arts and scenic landscapes.

Located in Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Hudson is a preferred choice for lovers of visual arts, music, culture and the outdoors. Each summer, for an entire week, the Hudson Music Festival attracts many tourists. For more than 20 years, the Théâtre du village in Hudson has offered a varied annual program to stage lovers, and the Musée de Hudson has been telling the fascinating history of this small village. The calm and rural landscape attracts a large number of artists and musicians who have come to inspire themselves from these places.

Bordered to the north by Lac des Deux Montagnes, Hudson incites with its magnificent natural setting, a healthy outdoor lifestyle and offers a multitude of hiking trails and a beach. The well-known Le Nichoir wild bird rehabilitation center is located in the municipality’s wildlife reserve and embraces its environmental values.

Finnegan’s market

Located at the western end of town in the fields of the Aird’s Farm, Finnegan’s Market is definitely a must-see. This flea market is popular with lovers of antiques, local products and quality products. Note that the Airds opened the market 43 years ago.
